1 month

Photobucket

I've always knew this was going to be hard. But it turned out to be hard in a completely different way from what I was expecting. You can't blame me for missing home. You can't blame me for missing my dog waking me up every day, my sunday mornings spent in a sofa watching The Simpsons until lunch time, my granmother's soups and wise words, my mum telling me to stop walking barefoot around the house, my dad yelling at me to hurry up or he'll be late for work. You can't blame me for that. I'm a human just like you. But hey, missing is one thing, giving up is completely another.

I just needed to let this words out and since I have no one to talk to, my blog is my only confident

like a Broken Arrow...

THIS. This is what yesterday was pretty much about. Got there at 4pm, started queueing along with other fans and then at 5.30pm was show time. Although I was only with her for about 10 seconds, that moment was amazing and when she looked me in the eyes and said with a smile "Hello, how're you?", that meant the world to me! I absolutely LOVE that girl and I must say she's even more gorgeous in person. Cannot wait for her tour in December ♥

I might meet this beautiful lady tomorrow if I get out of uni in time to the Broken Arrow signing in Bayswater. Please Lord, help me. I'm already getting butterflies in my stomach just to think of it. It would be a moment to remember, I love this girl so much!

Listen to the amazing Broken Arrow performance on the live lounge yesterday:

Paris

Photobucket
My sister asked me yesterday If I wanted to go to Paris with her and her friends next month. "Really Rita? That's not even a question!!" I answered.
There's a bus running from London to Paris and it's really cheap but it's a 8 hour journey which I don't believe I'd survive but then again it's Paris. A crazy adventure never hurt no one, I guess. Although I absolutely hate bus journeys, especially long ones. We'll see how things work. But I have to say, I'm already dreaming about "La Ville-Lumière"

rainy sunday afternoon

Photobucket

This last week was crazy. Spend Monday to Thursday at the Victoria and Albert museum in South Kensington from 11am to 5pm so had no time for anything else but drawing and preparing my final work to exhibit on Friday. That's all done now so let's look ahead. Have my REAL timetable for the first semester which means classes from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday an Friday free. Oh well, it could've been worse!

Today is just another rainy and cold day in London town with The Hills on tv and a cup of tea. I've been very homesick lately, especially in the weekend where I miss all the family lunch's back home. Oh well, I just have to stick with it and be strong! Gonna spend the afternoon dreaming awake and hoping everything will go as planned for the next few weeks.

Went to The National Gallery yesterday, it's so so beautiful inside. I'm going to draw at a museum tomorrow with my tutors and colleagues as part of my programe at uni. Should be fun although I don't properly draw for about 3 months. opps I'm very very rusty but I'll do my best to impress.
Tomorrow is when Uni starts for good.

Feeling a bit ill today, sore throat with sneezes like it was no tomorrow. All of this due to yesterday: left my comfy and warm coat at home because I thought it wouldn't get that cold during the day, but the truth is it was REALLY cold and very windy. And I was dressed like it was spring. Stupid and irresponsible Sandra! Hope I get better tomorrow. Fingers crossed

friday night

Photobucket

Friday. Had the day off today from Uni. Loving that place more and more by the minute. Hope I still feel like this in a 3-4 weeks time when the real work is gonna be on it's peak.
Got my McFly ticket for Shepherd's Bush today at the mail. Less than 4 week until tour! woop woop Absolutely cannot wait!
Today and yesterday have been raining like crazy and it's so so cold. And it's still September, have no idea how it will be in December-January when real Winter arrives. One thing I'm excited about is the snow. It has been snowing here in the last 2 years so hopefully this year snows as well. Not a snow storm that would stop all London for a day like it was last year, but just enough snow to cover the floor. That would be appreciated!
Have no idea what to do tonight. But I predict a night in front of the pc checking Twitter, E-mails, Facebook and so on. So boring night ahead. Wanted to go out to see some places at night but really don't feel like walking in the streets alone at night so I'm staying in. Have no plans for the weekend so this will be very interesting to watch. Need a good book to keep me entertained in this cold and boring nights at home.

Have a good weekend everybody

what a day what a day what a day

First of all: First Day of Uni. Very exciting and nerve racking. But everything went well, everybody is so so so so nice there and very helpful and my future "teachers" seem really nice to so let's see how it goes.

Some photos from my uni

Then after the first day of Uni I came home, went to twitter and saw this tweet from McFly "We can finally reveal the secret location of filming! It's at 3 Mills Studio, 3 mill lane, London, E3 3DU! Come find us!" that was the place where they were shooting the video for "Shine a Light" and they invited fans to join them and be part of the video. So I search through Google Maps and Holy Moly that was 20 minutes away from my home. First I was a bit undecided if I should go or not, but after a lot of thinking and encouragement words from my friends. I left everything and put my feet on the road on a hunt of the "3 Mills Studios" and I found it:

Well I literally spent 20 minutes standing on the door cause I didn't saw anyone in there and wasn't really sure I should get in or not but then I saw a Security Guy and he let me in to find this:

Loads of people who have been spending the day searching for clues around all London to be part of the video and me who didn't followed any clues or anything was there ready to be part of the video. WIN

After like 2 hours, they let us in and we did a normal concert scene with them playing and us just enjoying just like a natural gig. They were playing inside a cage and we were outside of it. I absolutely couldn't believe I was actually making part of it, was beyond surreal.
After a couple of shoot they put us into groups and we moved to other parts around that cage. I went back, right behind Harry and stayed there for most of the shoots. After a lot of goofy stuffs from the guys (including from Tom) Taio Cruz went to do his part of the song. Everybody made fun of him because of Dynamite. And we switched the words a little bit but he didn't listed. He's just a diva. After being standing for around 4-5 hours we could leave and go to our life's. But not until a hug from everyone of them and a picture with Danny. I wouldn't leave without that.
I really LOVED the song, its very catchy and the lyrics are really good. Listening to it out loud it's so much different from listening to it from another perspective, maybe that's why I loved the song so much. I absolutely cannot wait to see the final video. Hope I wont get cough doing embarrassing things in it. Oh boy.

Some photos I took inside of the studio. The last one was from my mobile phone, thats why it has a worse image.

Who would have guessed that today was one of those days I'd remember forever?

tomorrow

University of East London along with the River Thames, London City Airport, The O2 and Canary Wharf in the back!

Uni starts tomorrow. Well it's just the "First Week" for students to know the place, meet the teachers and stuff, but it's still exciting. Feeling a bit nervous, but hopefully everything will go well and this will be all in vain.
Tomorrow it's gonna be an important day. Oh yes it will
